I am a big sudoku fan and I have tried so many apps even in my early Palm days, and this is by far the best!!! The OCR is flawless and works like magic. My only minor complain is the location of all button. Sometimes you hit it by accident when reaching the top and bottom rows. Besides that, it is awesome. Keep the good work!!!

Im addicted to sudoku. love this app too. wish that the position of the menu button was at the top of the screen though. When Im trying to select the numbers or the pen, I keep getting flipped to the menu - annoying.

The perfect Sudoku app for couples who both solve the puzzles. For several years Ive entered the Sudoku puzzles on my MacBookPro so my wife and I could both share a puzzle. This is a much better alternative. Please add an easy way to clear pencil marks.

Use this frequently while travelling and love it.

Great app. Wish the ipod touch had a camera but the preloaded puzzles are a challenge. Had a problem after upgrading to V1.7. Emailed (from contact info in app) and received response in less than 12 hours with solution and info that the fix has been submitted to Apple. Great App, does what it says and great customer service. Thanks

This app works extremely well at capturing puzzles (even in less than optimal lighting), and it had the best interface Ive usef for solving puzzles on screen. I wish they would make one for cryptoquotes.

Works great. Clever and (for a Sudoku addict) useful. Fun and easy to use too. Im running out of superlatives... really, this is just a marvelous app. Highly, highly recommended even for just-occasional Sudoku players.

I have been using the Astraware sudoku app, and I will probably not delete that one because I have this one. I probably dont actually save any time using the OCR on this game to import a puzzle, but this app scores in coolness factor. Also, I like the fact that you can import a puzzle and save it for later. With the Astraware app, once you import a puzzle, thats the only one you can play, until you solve it and enter another one. Astraware scores over this one in playability, by a slight margin, however. My biggest issue with this app is my inability to read the teeny-tiny red and green numbers that are displayed when a puzzle is imported. It would be nice if the numbers were larger. Since you can read the picture through the overlay numbers, there is no reason why they cant be bigger. This app is well worth the price, in my estimation. Thanks!

the camera grab feature itself is already worth more than a buck! and it comes with nonstopping soduko puzzles.. with 4 different levels. the only thing I would like improve on is have the puzzles u completed shown instead of just the time. great app! pencil fill feature is also great.

Ive tried several times taking pictures with the camera in a 4G iPod Touch and nearly every time it fails to recognize most or all of the numbers and often puts them into wrong positions or even puts numbers where there are none. Its a novel idea, but the execution has serious problems. Perhaps the developer needs to tweak things for the camera in the 4G iPod Touch. The camera on the iPhone is 5MP (about 2500x2000) and the camera on the iPod Touch 4g is about 0.7MP. Sometimes the program did work with an imported screen shot taken on an iPad and sometimes it did work with the iPod Touch 4G camera. The weirdest thing of all is that with some images I got different results every time I ran the program on the SAME image. After more testing it appears that the problems happen more when landscape photos of other puzzles are used (which I suppose makes sense as there are a lot fewer pixels in that direction). After more testing it does work with the iPod Touch 4G camera some of the time, if you take portrait photos but much less so with landscape ones. But I took several photos of the same puzzle and got different results from each, so the methods the program uses seem to be very picky about the image. Until the developer fixes the problem or Apple puts a higher res camera in the iPod Touch 4G, I would stay away from this app if you use a 4G iPod Touch, or at the least give the Lite version of this program a try before plunking down your $1.99. I do like the Sudoku aspects of the program - its great at solving puzzles, and its very handy for finding slight variations of puzzle solutions by just changing one or two of the cell values. I almost exclusively use this app for capturing puzzles from newspapers and airline magazines, etc. Its nice to have the built-in puzzles for when the captures get done, though. The capture ability just gets better and better or else I get better at taking pictures it can use. From the "just okay" camera in my original iPhone the the good camera in my iPhone 4, I have always been able to take puzzles with me. The pencil system is the best Ive seen to date as well. Thanks.

Im and avid sudoku player and enthusiast! I love this app. Ive had it for two years and I play it everyday. You can customize colors and fonts and save unfinished games! I would high recommend this app to anyone looking to play sudoku any time and anywhere.

I would love for this to be a universal app and support rotating on the iPad. On an airplane, it would be nice to be in landscape mode with the iPad slightly elevated using the smart cover. Just not as comfortable to hold the iPad in portrait to play this game.

The OCR already puts it heads above the other Sudoku apps that Ive tried. It also doesnt try to gamify the puzzle with points and combos and leaderboards like some "Sudoku" apps do. It has great customizability with the look, the level of help, etc.

This App was awesome on my old iPhone 3GS. Now that Ive upgraged to an iPhone5, grabbing puzzles is a bit difficult. Hope a new version is coming out soon! A crossword grab would be great!

But something happened today. It is not working on my iPad Air. Checking here I see there was an update. Please fix it.

Can’t even open the app now. Crashes on launch. What did you guys do to mess this up? Was working fine before the May 2014 update
